For several days now, support for Ukraine in the face of its unjustified and intolerable invasion has been unanimously expressed within the community of authors' societies. Solidarity actions are taking place everywhere in support of the Ukrainian people, particularly within the BIEM societies of neighbouring countries who in a short time managed to provide provisional accommodation for Ukrainian refugees and raised funds through benefit concert and fundraiser campaigns in order to supply humanitarian aid near their state borders.  In such a context, the BIEM Management Committee fully associates itself with these actions of solidarity and affirms its complete support for Ukraine.  In view to help local societies and creators, CISAC has opened a solidarity fund, we are pleased to relay this initiative, in case you are not aware - see attached.
